SECOND BIENNIAL EXHIBITION
50 ARTISTS / 250 WORKS

French & Michigan Gallery is pleased to present the Second Biennial Exhibition 50 Artists / 250 Works.
Selected through a regional Open Call submission, 50 artists create five 8 x 8 inch works each. Every piece is displayed with one magnet, resulting in a final installation of 250 objects presented on one wall. A correlating map stands in the center of the room to guide viewers by artist name.
All work is priced at an equal value of $250. Collectors take work immediately upon purchase, allowing the overall installation to evolve throughout the presentation.
Finalists vary between mid-career, emerging, and student artists, and range between ceramicists, collagists, designers, metalsmiths, mixed media artists, painters, performers, photographers, printmakers, sculptors, and woodworkers.

Gutierrez Jr., Brittany Ham, Leonardo Hernandez, Kelly Johnston, Justin Korber, Qing Liu, Scott Martin, Jack McGilvray, Mark Menjivar, Laura Mijangos, Amada Miller, Michele Monseau, Andrea Moon, Gissette Padilla, Jillian Palone, Justin Parr, Rainey, Randi Renate, Anthony Rundblade, Jen Frost Smith, Polly Lanning Sparrow, Anabel Toribio-Martinez, Tom Turner, Kristina VandeWalle, Barbara Warren, Ali Wiesse, Jason Willome, Guillermina Zabala, as well as French & Michigan Gallery artists Shannon Crider, Larry Graeber, Wesley Harvey, Soomin Jung, Jaelah Kuehmichel, Lee Michael Peterson, Lisa Qualls, Gary Schott, Cornelia White Swann, Sandy Whitby, and Andrew John Wit.
Exhibition is presented by co-curators Faith Haddad with Haus Collective and Céleste Wackenhut with French & Michigan Gallery.
50 Artists / 250 Works opened to the public with an open house at French & Michigan Gallery on Saturday, December 5, 2015, 2:00-6:00 pm. Exhibition remains on view through January 30, 2016.
